DRESSING UP A GREY TEE

I'm a total jeans and tee kind of girl, so when I found this grey tee I knew I had to have it because not only is the fringe so perfect, but it is a great tee to dress both up and down. The extra detail makes this a no brainer top to dress up but you could just as easily throw on some denim shorts and sandals for a more casual look. Dressing up a tee is a great option for staying comfortable while looking put together. Also, swapping out your ordinary blue denim for some white denim is a great way to up the anti because it instantly dresses up your look and you still get to wear jeans. Throw on your most comfortable pumps and you're good to go!

Happy Friday! I am sooooo ready for Spring and have been adding things to my shopping carts left and right! This is the time to buy, buy, buy, because all this stuff sells out so quickly, lucky for you everything here is under $100 so it won't break the bank. This tote is so perfect, whether it's on a beach vacation or just out for margaritas with the ladies you cannot go wrong with poms. This ruffle top might just be my next purchase it is so adorbs and I know I will be living in white once it warms up. Also this is the time of year to update your beauty stock, I am a huge fan of this lipstick and think the color 'obsessed' will be perfect for spring alongside this 'brill' nail polish! What are your current Spring favorites?!

#TBT VALENTINE

FLORAL DRESS | | PUMPS | | PURSE (SIMILAR) | | EARRINGS, CURRENTLY SOLD OUT (SIMILAR OPTION) | | LIPS: GLOMINERALS GLOSS IN 'FLAMINGO' | | NAILS: 'SURE THING' REVLON COLORSTAY GEL ENVY

#tbt! I'm throwing it back to what I wore for a Valentine's Day date with my man because so many of you have asked about this dress from my snaps (if you don't follow me on Snapchat you really should, @jasminrach) also I have just had general inquiries since having done a Valentine's Day look series, so many of you have asked which looks I actually ended up wearing. Well honestly you guys I didn't wear any of the V-Day looks I suggested (you can see those looks here, here, and here) and not because I didn't love each and every one but because we had a pretty low key weekend other then the one big hoorah. I honestly spent most of the weekend in these pjs, which you probably also saw on Snapchat, and then this dress for dinner on Saturday night.

FASHION RISK

CROPPED SWEATSHIRT (SIMILAR) | | DENIM | | FAUX LEATHER COAT, AVAILABLE HERE (SIMILAR) | | BOOTIES (SIMILAR) | | PURSE (SPLURGE) | | EARRINGS | | EARRINGS | | LIPS: 'LIAR' c/o URBAN DECAY | | NAILS: 'SURE THING' REVLON COLORSTAY GEL ENVY

I got this coat the other day when I visited Refine Boutique in DC and have been hooked! I love the utility look of it, plus it's faux leather so total no brainer. It's pieces like this that I get such a kick out of incorporating into my wardrobe because I would usually consider this piece outside of my comfort zone, but when I gravitated towards it I knew it was a fashion risk I had to take. This coat is a statement piece on its own so I kept the rest of my look pretty simple, a textured cropped sweatshirt and some lace up, buckle clad chunky heeled booties perfectly compliment this chic, tomboyish look. I opted for my high waisted skinnies since I am not a huge crop top fan, but high waisted bottoms paired with a crop top sure does add length to the legs. I loved playing around with proportions in this look, typically I pair my longer coats with longer tops or dresses but here I think the cropped sweatshirt works well with the longer coat. Taken any fashion risks lately? How do you step outside of your fashion comfort zone, I would love to hear!

CASUAL IN CONVERSE

A chambray and converse sneakers are my go to items when I need to dress casually. Honestly, I haven't really ventured into the whole 'athleisure' trend partly because I just don't think I'm cool enough to pull it off and also because, well, I don't really like wearing gym stuff unless I'm at the gym. However, that isn't to say I don't like a good casual look. A chambray and sneakers are wardrobe staples that can so easily be remixed either together or separately and are budget friendly. Alone a chambray can so easily be dressed up and a pair of sneakers can give your look a total cool girl vibe, plus they are just easier for those days where you're running around like a crazy person. So if you're anything like me and haven't yet hoped on the 'athleisure' bandwagon just stick to casual basics like this chambray or these sneakers.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR

Recently we've had those warmer days that remind us that Spring is just around the corner and it gets me so excited for warm weather clothing. This look is the perfect ode to warmer days, the blush and nude screams Spring while the whites hold true to their Winter whites name. This is the time of year where we can pull some Spring essentials out from hibernation and start to pack away our heavy coats and boots, allowing for the perfect opportunity to make even more use out of your clothing. Mix and match your so called "winter" and "spring" items for a transitional look, not only will you get to wear your favorite Spring pieces sooner but you will create some new ways to remix you're clothing, which is always a plus. How are you introducing your favorite Spring pieces back into your wardrobe?

THE DRESS THAT WAS MADE FOR ME

DRESS c/o eSHAKTI (SIMILAR) | | NUDE PUMPS (SAVE | SPLURGE) | | EARRINGS | | LIPS: 'LIAR' c/o URBAN DECAY | | NAILS: 'SURE THING' REVLON COLORSTAY GEL ENVY

Have you ever coveted a dress that you just don't need. Well that's how I was for the longest with the famous Maggy London Illusion Dress, I thought it was stunning but really when would I ever wear it?! Fast forward to a couple weeks ago when eShakti reached out to me and I saw this dress. I knew I had to make it mine because it was even better than the Maggy London dress, I mean hello shear polka dots, I didn't even care about not having an excuse to wear it because I know this is a dress I will get my wear of at some point in time for years to come. What I love most about eShakti is that not only are they affordable but it is a customizable service that creates the clothing to fit you to a T, it's literally made for you and they give you options to customize sleeve length, neckline and the addition of pockets. I mean how stunning is this LBD, it would look great with 3/4 length sleeves and pockets. I made the ultimate decision to not have pockets, because I didn't want to risk being able to see the pocket through the fitted dress and wanted a seamless fit, also they are just not necessary for this style of dress. You can see my other very much loved dress from eShakti in this post, where I opted for pockets. I am really loving this maxi for warmer weather, perfect for a little resort vacation. I've had a couple of experiences with eShakti now and I have nothing bad to say about the online retailer, I love getting the personal shopping experience at such a good price point and with so many styles and options you seriously can't go wrong. Want to give eShakti a try? Use code jasmindaily at checkout for 10% OFF your order (expires 3/18/16)!

STATEMENT SWEATER

SWEATER (SIMILAR | SIMILAR) | | BLACK TOP | | BLACK DENIM | | SHORT RAIN BOOTS | | PURSE c/o | | POM KEYCHAIN | | EARRINGS

Statement sweaters/cardigans are great pieces to have for those times when you don't actually have the time but want to look put together. A textured, mixed print sweater can instantly take any look up a notch and make an outfit. It is the perfect piece for a movie date, casual dinner or when you're just running errands but want to look like you at least attempted to get dressed. It also helps eliminate the need for accessories because well, it's a statement piece all on it's own and it doesn't need any supporting roles. Below are a few of my favorite statement sweaters sure to enhance your look:
