VALENTINE'S DAY FOR HER

PAJAMAS | | PINK PUMPS | | BATH OIL | | PERFUME | | WATCH | | LIP CRAYON | | CANDLE | | WINE GLASSES | | BLANKET WRAP | | PURSE | | EARRINGS

So I figured we would start off the Valentine's Day gift guides with the main gift recipient, the ladies! C'mon let's be honest Valentine's Day is all about the ladies, whether your man is buying for you, you're treating yourself to something sweet or you and your girls are buying for one another, this ones about the ladies. Fellas, above are some gifts no woman would be mad to receive and ladies take a second to grab a couple things for your besties while you're sending this gift guide to your man. I learnt from the best, my mom always had the sweetest gifts for me on Valentine's Day, and it's a tradition I seriously hope to one day continue! I am dying to grab this lip crayon in "Drive to Pink" that pop of pink is just what I need in my life. These earrings are so perfect, I may gift myself with them, and then grab a couple pairs for my besties and this blanket wrap well you just can't go wrong, so chic and on trend this is a must have! Do you have any special Valentine's Day memories, or traditions?

ROSE QUARTZ CUPID

With Valentine's Day quickly approaching I decided to round up some looks and gift guides similarly to how I did over the holidays as a way to inspire you no matter how you are spending the day, so make sure to stop by tomorrow for the first of the gift guides! With Valentine's Day falling on a Sunday I am looking forward to making the entire weekend a celebration of love, spent with not only my man but with family and my best girlfriends. This look would be perfect for a brunch with your besties, a little shopping spree with your man, or for wine with your mom, it's the perfect mix of casual and chic. I am a bit obsessed with rose quartz, Pantone's color of the year, and I love it even more paired with burgundy, plus the color combo screams Valentine's Day!

THE 5 ESSENTIAL WINTER COATS

Happy Tuesday! My apologies for yesterday's absence, this blizzard messed me up a little bit, but it was a blast to take a little time off to enjoy the snow with loved ones. Anyways today I want to talk about coats. I don't know about you but I hate wearing the same coat on repeat, and since I spend so much time in them from December - February I want cute coats to keep me sane during those months and that don't bore me. Which is exactly why I believe every woman needs these 5 essential winter coats, at a minimum!
Midi coat: Like the coat I am wearing in this post, it is ideal for formal events, or whenever you're wearing anything midi length and want to keep it fully covered. The midi coat is a surefire way to look put together and glam without really trying. Go for a neutral color since you only really need one in your wardrobe. Last seen here.
Long Peacoat: I reach for my long camel peacoat daily, it is seriously the best purchase and most worn coat out of the bunch. This peacoat can easily be dressed up and down and is a great neutral to be worn with everything!
Car Coat: Everyone needs that one girly coat that they can rock on a date night or an evening out with the ladies which is why I love a car coat in a more feminine color like blush. A blush car coat gives the perfect touch of elegance while still being oversized. It is able to be dress down or give your casual, tomboyish look a little girly glam.
Puffer Coat: Want to stay warm, get yourself a puffer coat, preferably the full length one that kind of looks like a sleeping bag but keeps you just as warm as if you were in one. Get one with a faux fur hood for a little eye appeal and a cinched or belted waist to keep things figure friendly.
Short Peacoat: This is another coat I reach for daily, a short black (neutral toned) peacoat is an easy throw on over everything and will keep you looking chic in the cold.

JASMIN DAILY TURNS 2!

DRESS, SOLD OUT (SIMILAR | SIMILAR | LOVE THIS ONE) | | HEELS | | EARRINGS | | NECKLACE | | RING

Today Jasmin daily turns 2! I started this blogging venture without any knowledge of where it would take me or how it would grow. Honestly I was just looking for an outlet, and now I can't imagine my life without it, without you all. Starting Jasmin daily was a risk, but a very necessary one, and I am so grateful for all of you who follow along and in your own little way support my dream. Thank you, thank you, thank you for loving Jasmin daily as much as I do and I hope you will continue to follow along as it continues to grow with me.

SIMPLY STRIPED

CAMEL COAT, OLD (SIMILAR | LOVE THIS ONE) | | STRIPED TURTLENECK (SIMILAR) | | DENIM | | BOOTIES (SIMILAR) | | PURSE | | EARRINGS | | LIPS: 'LIAR' c/o URBAN DECAY | | NAILS: 'SURE THING' REVLON COLORSTAY GEL ENVY

I wear white year round, I'm not a believer in the "no white after Labor Day" rule, but I do believe there is a way to winterize your whites. There are some really easy ways to do this, add texture, layers, an obviously winter coat or some booties to instantly bring your whites up to winter speed or you could simply add stripes, my solution for everything. Layering is the true key to winterizing, a turtleneck, textured sweatshirt, or a great boot and socks easily refresh a "summer" staple like white denim. Another tip, add ivory and cream to your look in way of a handbag or sweater to create a monochromatic look, plus the cream and/or ivory will warm up the bright white and give the look a cozier feel, perfect for those winter nights.

LIGHT & BRIGHT

SWEATER (SIMILAR) | | DENIM, OLD (SIMILAR | LOVE THESE) | | COAT | | PUMPS (SPLURGE | SAVE) | | PURSE | | EARRINGS | |  WATCH c/o WRISTOLOGY WATCHES (SIMILAR) | | BRACELETS, GIFTED (SIMILAR) | | LIPS: 'LIAR' c/o URBAN DECAY | | NAILS: 'SURE THING' REVLON COLORSTAY GEL ENVY

I love light grey and bright whites so throwing this combo together in an outfit was a no brainer. Winter whites scream fresh and clean to me but also create a classic vibe, i.e. crisp white button down, so white pumps and this ivory peacoat fit the fresh feel I was going for. By adding some more neutrals like this grey purse and cozy light grey sweater, this look screams light and bright which can feel very refreshing on these drab winter days. This is totally my go to look when I ban myself from wearing all black, which I occasionally have to do because things start to get pretty depressing when you appear to be in mourning on a daily basis. But I mean aren't we all mourning winter, or is that just me?! I am so ready for winter to be over, as much as I love the cooler months for fashion, my heart is not quite content in this cold climate.

THE SWING DRESS

GREY SWING DRESS | | BLACK CARDIGAN, SOLD OUT (SIMILAR) | | LEGGINGS | | BOOTIES | | PURSE | | EARRINGS | | LIPS: 'TULIP TIDE' BY BURT'S BEES | | NAILS: 'SURE THING' REVLON COLORSTAY GEL ENVY

I always admired people wearing swing dresses, for the longest time I just thought they weren't for me, they were too wide and never long enough, always making my proportions look strange. That was until I discovered the "Tall" ones from Old Navy, you can see how I styled the identical black one here and here. Now this post is in no way, shape, or form sponsored by ON but I have to say their tall line makes shopping for dresses and long sleeve tops so much easier. Also if you are look for a more conservative option for dresses I suggest ordering from their tall line, it gives you a little extra length when you need a little extra coverage. Now that I have found the ultimate swing dresses I am on the hunt for more colors and prints, have you had success finding any? I would love to know where you shop for dresses! Below are a few swing dresses I am looking forward to trying out:
