HEALTHY HAIR ROUTINE

One of the most asked questions I get from you guys is about my hair. Specifically what my hair care routine looks like and how I curl my hair. Today I am going to share my routine, what I do to keep my hair healthy and all of the products I use. There is a hair curling tutorial coming your way soon, I promise!
I want to start off by saying it has taken me a while to get my hair to the point it is now, that point being going anywhere from 10-14 days between washes. I have worked up to going this long in between washes, lets just say dry shampoo and quality hair care products are my best friends. Since going so long between washes I have noticed a huge change in the texture and health of my hair. Recently I have been addicted to HASK Monoi products, not only do the smell amazing, helllooo coconut, but it's nice knowing I am using quality products on my hair that are free of sulfates, parabens, drying alcohol and artificial colors.
Typically I wash my hair on Thursday mornings (bi-weekly). I start by using the HASK Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Shampoo, rinse, then use the HASK Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Conditioner and while this is on I comb through my hair and get rid of any tangles, then I rinse. Next I pour a mixture of 1 cup water, 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar on my hair. I let that mixture sit on my hair for 5 minutes and then rinse really well to get rid of the vinegar smell. This mixture helps get rid of build up from products (i.e. hairspray, dry shampoo, oil) that have been used since the last wash. 
Once I am done washing my hair I apply a heat protectant to my damp hair and then let my hair air dry during the day. Thursday evening (remember, this is bi-weekly) I straighten my hair, I use this flat iron. Then I brush through with the HASK brush (I brush my hair every evening).
Once a month I will do some sort of treatment to my hair, my current favorites include the HASK Coconut Oil Nourishing Deep Conditioner, a steam hair wrap, and this leave in ponytail treatment. I alternate monthly between these products depending on what my hair needs the most help with, whether it be split ends, moisture, or just a little rejuvenation. I also use this HASK Coconut Oil Nourishing SHINE Oil on the ends of my hair when I need a little extra shine or my ends are feeling dry. Another thing that really helps with hair growth and health is through daily supplements. Other than my daily vitamin and fish oil I also take these Hair, Skin & Nails supplements as directed.   1. My girlfriend uses coconut on her face daily and it looks radiant, I have been tempted to put some coconut oil on the ends of my hair. You do have beautiful hair.

  4. Hair can fall out for a variety of reasons: stress, chemicals, poor diet, health issues, etc. Try to reduce your stress and take out any processed foods from your diet. Avoid heat-styling your hair, and use a heat protectant spray when you do. Also, try to use shampoos and conditioners that are free of silicons, sulfates, and parabens.
