THE 5 ESSENTIAL WINTER COATS

Happy Tuesday! My apologies for yesterday's absence, this blizzard messed me up a little bit, but it was a blast to take a little time off to enjoy the snow with loved ones. Anyways today I want to talk about coats. I don't know about you but I hate wearing the same coat on repeat, and since I spend so much time in them from December - February I want cute coats to keep me sane during those months and that don't bore me. Which is exactly why I believe every woman needs these 5 essential winter coats, at a minimum!
Midi coat: Like the coat I am wearing in this post, it is ideal for formal events, or whenever you're wearing anything midi length and want to keep it fully covered. The midi coat is a surefire way to look put together and glam without really trying. Go for a neutral color since you only really need one in your wardrobe. Last seen here.
Long Peacoat: I reach for my long camel peacoat daily, it is seriously the best purchase and most worn coat out of the bunch. This peacoat can easily be dressed up and down and is a great neutral to be worn with everything!
Car Coat: Everyone needs that one girly coat that they can rock on a date night or an evening out with the ladies which is why I love a car coat in a more feminine color like blush. A blush car coat gives the perfect touch of elegance while still being oversized. It is able to be dress down or give your casual, tomboyish look a little girly glam.
Puffer Coat: Want to stay warm, get yourself a puffer coat, preferably the full length one that kind of looks like a sleeping bag but keeps you just as warm as if you were in one. Get one with a faux fur hood for a little eye appeal and a cinched or belted waist to keep things figure friendly.
Short Peacoat: This is another coat I reach for daily, a short black (neutral toned) peacoat is an easy throw on over everything and will keep you looking chic in the cold.

  1. I am the worst about wearing a proper coat and then by the time I want to buy a pretty one they are out of stock! Hence why I have a boring, long, black puffer coat!
