BURGUNDY TUNIC, WORN AS TOP (LOVE THIS OPTION) | | FAUX SUEDE SKIRT | | OTK BOOTS | | PURSE (SIMILAR) | | EARRINGS | | LIPS: 'WINE' E.L.F. STUDIO MATTE LIP | | NAILS: 'WINE AND FOREVER' BY MAYBELLINE COLOR SHOW
I never thought I would be caught dead in burgundy and gold (camel) again, this color duo was my middle schools official colors and I swore off the combo on graduation day when I burned my gym uniform to smithereens and stashed away every piece of burgundy and gold I owned. But this combo was just too good to hide away, when I got this skirt I knew I wanted to pair it with this tunic for a fun 70s vibe but was wary of the two colors I was planning to pair together again. Fortunately, OTK boots and a quilted crossbody helped to "modernize" the look while the flirty hemlines and oversized bow guaranteed a girly vibe. Is there a color combo that leaves a bad taste in your mouth or am I the only one who hides colors away for years on end?!

This outfit is fabulous! You described it perfectly, too, because modern 70's is exactly what it brought to mind. You look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is so cute! I love the little button down suede skirt paired with this bold blouse. And the OTK boots are stellar.
