I was never one to wear florals in the winter, I always assumed that like white pants, floral prints had a wear by expiration date stamped on them. That was until I started breaking fashion rules and wearing what feels right, and let me tell you florals always feel right. More spring like palettes such as florals and pastels can be easily winterized, simply add a bold striped pattern like I did above to print mix, and/or be sure to include heavier fabrics or pieces with texture to add weight, typically necessary for colder months. You can easily transform your "spring" attire to be worn year round and encourage warmer days. Below are a few more floral items to incorporate into your, longing for spring, winter wardrobe:
