FRIDAY FINDS

This past weekend I went shopping (I know what you’re thinking, what a surprise!), it was lovely out
and I decided to hit the city. Of course wandering around outside turned into stopping in a number of stores
like H&M, Urban Outfitters, Stuart Weitzman, Zara, Mandee and Anthropologie.
While I had no intention of purchasing (I swear I always have really good intentions) I couldn’t resist a few pieces.

H&M dress

H&M jacket (didn't like the black dress)

Mandee top *with detachable necklace*
(didn't try this on in the store, took the risk. Success!)
Saw these bad boys in Zara but they had none in my size, so ordered them online.

Now onto this daisy craze going on right now, have you guys noticed it?
I swear everywhere I look I’m reminded of the 60s
and the VW Bug beetle plastic car I had growing up that I covered in daisy stickers.
I love it and want to participate in the craze, just not quite sure how I want to style it.
Suggestions anyone?

THESE BOOTS...

Top: Old (option here & here)
Tank: Old Navy
Jeans: Old (similar option here)
Boots: Old (nice option here & here)
Belts: Similar here
Coat: Old Navy (option here & on sale here)

…were made for walkin'.
I know they don’t look like it right!?
These boots are crazy comfortable, and who doesn’t want comfortable for a night out on the town.
I’m always wary when wearing over-the-knee “hooker” heels but love them,
so I try to keep it classy with a nice top and play them down with some jeans.
What about you guys, are you a fan of over-the-knee heeled boots?

Well more snow and ice, as predicted.
The lack of excitement about this winter weather is building up.

Another thing that is building up??? My anticipation for Friday.
My spring break starts Friday and I have to say I am beyond excited,
I love nothing more than going back home to DC to spend time with my mom!
I will be dedicating the week to catching up with friends, drinking wine, shopping,
updating the neighborhood on my life and completely relaxing.

Having said that, I have decided that in order to soak up every minute of my break I will not be posting next week.
(I know, I'm awful...insert cries of horror here!)
However, I will be instagramming like a maniac so make sure you follow me
Also, I promise to post details on all the outfits I wear over the break at some point when I return.

Have a wondrous Wednesday,

Can we talk about this weekend?! Gorgeousness!
The weather over the weekend made me so happy, for anyone who knows me they know I absolutely despise winter.
Like with a passion.
Yeah the fluffy white stuff is awesome the first day but then it’s just frustrating and hazardous.
I love warmth, the sun is my best friend, I am literally craving tanks and shorts…okay Ill stop ranting now.
But seriously, it was lovely going outside and not walking into a wall of frigid air.
I am going to try and keep all the loveliness from the weekend in mind
and stay positive during this next bout of cold & snow we are expected to receive.

Have a thriving Tuesday,
