Yay for shorts season!
This long legged chick is a sucker for shorts and these high waisted, distressed ones are my all time favorite.
I love this outfit because it's casual and comfy, sporty yet put together. It's amazing what throwing on a blazer can do, it is the perfect way to tie a look together and provide a little extra coverage so as not to feel completely exposed. But, what I am seriously loving are these sneaks, I used to wear chucks (Converse) every. single. day. alllllll throughout middle and high school, all the cool kids were doing it, and now I have a new found love for them. They are the perfect pop of white, go with anything addition to an outfit...plus they make me feel like a 16 year old all over again!
What pieces are you bringing back from your "childhood"?

  1. I LOVE your blue blazer with these torn shorts. You paired this very well. The chucks are the perfect touch to your look. I'm so glad I found your blog!

  2. Love the jean short, blazer combo!

  3. I have never heard the term chucks before!! I'm going to take inspiration from you as I own lots of blazers but have never worn one with shorts! To be honest, I'm not sure the UK is the best place to wear shorts! I really do love this though, you have fantastic legs for short shorts. I also own a pair of chucks!! but don't have the gutsto wear white ones!

  4. Cute! I love simple outfits like this.

  5. simple but cool and chic...I love it
