Yesterday was one of the most rewarding, tough, anxiety ridden yet amazing days ever. 

It was one of those days where I felt so grateful and blessed and warmhearted but completely overwhelmed and defeated at the same time. Long story short, I work for an amazing organization that advocates for children and youth in Philadelphia and last night was the annual event, and it was one heck of an occasion! When large events like this finally get under way, set up for and carried out, no doubt it is amazing and fun but the entire time I am on pins and needles waiting for something to go wrong. 

Well ladies and gents, nothing went wrong, last night was a total success and everyone raved about how amazing the event was. 

I always said that as long as I get to make a difference, some way, some how, I will know I am doing what I am destined to do. 

Last night was living proof that I am doing just that, when I took a minute to breathe, I realized just how much this event full of educators, political figures, funders, and dedicated, hardworking people can and will continue to have an impact on the lives of the youth in this area. It just goes to show that a little hard work, perseverance and the courage to prove everyone wrong is what encourages success.
