Happy Monday everyone!
It is so crazy that Christmas is this week! I am in sunny old England to celebrate the holidays and bring in the New Year with my family, so if there is a delay in posts or a day is skipped you know why! I hope you all are able to spend some time with loved ones over the next couple of weeks.
I wanted to share two alternative ways to wear a blanket scarf this winter. Many people think the scarf is too bulky especially for a smaller frame. I am 5'10" and most frequently wear my blanket scarfs as last seen
here and
here however I have had fun experimenting with alternative options to reduce the bulk these scarfs create.
For the first look the scarf is folded rectangularly, twice rather than in a triangle. This gives the scarf the option of being worn as a regular long rectangular scarf.
The second look takes a little more time and practice, the scarf is folded in a triangle and belted. I chose to keep the back out of the belt for less arm restriction however I know plenty of people who get away with having the back of the scarf tucked into the belt as well and have no problems. I have yet to master the art of caping my blanket scarf obvi!
Hope this was beneficial!
